Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 17, 2026
This policy explains what information Can It Charge? (canitcharge.com, “we”) collects when you use the site, why, and what choices you have. In short: you can use the whole site without an account, and we don’t sell personal data.
Information we collect
When you browse. Our hosting and security provider, Cloudflare, processes technical data such as your IP address, browser type and the pages you request, so it can deliver the site and protect it from abuse. We don’t use this data to identify you.
When you contact us. If you use the contact form, we receive your name, email address and message. The form is delivered by FormSubmit, which forwards it to our inbox. We use these details only to reply to you and to fix any issue you report.
Calculator and checker. Choices you make in the charger checker and the charging time calculator are processed in your browser and are not sent to us.
Cookies
We don’t set advertising or tracking cookies. Cloudflare may set strictly necessary cookies for security. If we add analytics or affiliate links in the future, this policy will be updated before that happens, and affiliate partners such as Amazon may set their own cookies when you follow their links.
Third-party services
- Cloudflare — hosting, content delivery and security.
- Google Fonts — the site’s typefaces are loaded from Google’s servers, which receive your IP address.
- FormSubmit — delivers contact form messages by email.
Each provider handles data under its own privacy policy.
Affiliate links
Some pages may link to products in online stores. If you buy through such a link we may earn a commission, at no extra cost to you. This never changes our compatibility answers, which are calculated the same way for every product.
How long we keep data
Contact messages are kept only as long as needed to handle your request, and no longer than 24 months.
Your rights
Depending on where you live (for example under the GDPR or CCPA), you may have the right to access, correct or delete personal data we hold about you, or to object to its processing. To make a request, use our contact form.
Children
The site is not directed at children under 13, and we don’t knowingly collect their personal data.
Changes
We may update this policy. The date at the top shows when it was last changed.
